5th Annual Parade of Community Gardens

We invite all community gardens to participate in the Parade of Community Gardens, a Minnesota event celebrating community and gardening!  You can learn more about being on the Parade at the Community Garden Spring Resource Fair or by contacting us (information sessions still to be scheduled)

Parade Registration for Community Gardens is June 1, 2010 at NOON

Please fill in the ONLINE REGISTRATION. It is FREE to participate in the Parade, but we need to have registrations submitted by the June 1 deadline.

There will also be a training in Media and Outreach for participants in early June (to be scheduled).

Past Parades Look at press releases, resolutions, and garden descriptions, video, and the brochure -- our best "walk-around" directory of community gardens in the Twin Cities. Plan on attending the next Parade and take yourself on a tour of community gardens and meet the people that create and maintain these spaces!

Resolutions and Proclamations -- Over the years, Minneapolis and St. Paul City Councils, Hennepin County of Board of Commissioners, and the Mayor of Minneapolis have recognized the value of community gardens to our neighborhoods, honoring community gardens and the gardeners that create and maintain these community spaces.
