Community Garden Day 2013

Community Garden Day is a way to learn directly from community gardeners about these community spaces & get to know your community a little better in the process. On Saturday, August 10, 2013 community gardens from across the state will host free neighborhood celebrations for the public in their gardens.

The day recognizes the contributions of community gardeners to the health, vitality and livability of their communities, and also serves as an opportunity to spread awareness about the multiple benefits of community gardens to the public. Past Parades

The Parade of Community Gardens is now "Community Garden Day"--the name has changed but the concept hasn't! On this page you'll find archived examples of previous years' press releases, Community Garden Day resolutions, brochures, as well as participating garden descriptions, video, and links to photos. Plan on attending a Community Garden Day 2011 celebration and take yourself on a tour of community gardens where you live.
