Stewardship Council
To conclude the Hubs Fall Gathering in October, the nearly 100 Hubs members split into their respective Hubs and approved three representatives each (who either volunteered or were nominated) to become part of the newly established Stewardship Council. The Stewardship Council will be comprised of these individual Hub members, Gardening Matters, and the City of Minneapolis. Stewardship Council members will act as key liaisons between members of their Hub and the larger network, increasing effective communication and making decisions around the design of the Hubs program. Leadership opportunities will still exist at the individual Hub level, as Hubs may decide to establish committees or workgroups as they see fit.
